5 Reasons Why I’m Happy About the Lockdown
I’m a freelancer and ambivert, I can say that I hardly go out. This makes it clear why I’m happy about the lockdown. It makes no difference to me. Staying at home is super simple, as that’s my usual way of living. Of course, I’d order food online, but I’m not a fan of junk. So skipping it isn’t hard for me.
But some days, I feel low and unhappy about the lockdown. When everyone’s at home doing nothing and watching TV while I work, I get jealous. Honestly, I once felt that 9–5 jobs are better than freelancing (I know, freelancing is a rescuer at this time). However, the thought vanished into the air when my sister, who’s a teacher, was struggling with students to keep her online classes productive. She wasn’t comfortable with online teaching, and it was hard to keep her students focused.
And there’s my mom, who’s a dressmaker. She was worried about the broken machine and repair wasn’t possible at the time. Again, I should feel lucky to have a freelancing job.
Apart from all the gratitude for my job, there are many other reasons that I’m happy about. I’ve taken all these things for granted until the pandemic happened.
